Smeg by William Waterhouse - 240volt fridge compressor, fridge tubes, brass shim

Smeg was the beginning of what now is what i refur to as the Beaufort series, an exploration into to the harnessing of a given power supply ,a fridge compressor, to understand resistance, airflow, pressure. Much like water through a plant the air passes through the hollow structure of the work to atmosphere passing over the blades of the cut elements balanced at the peripheries of structure.

I continue to explore variations in form, some of which can be found bellow, I except commission for existing structures and i am always seeking opportunities for site specific commissions and larger more ambitious opportunities to further pursue the possibilities
