Smeg by william waterhouse - 240volt fridge compressor, fridge tubes, brass shim

I set out to explore what could be achieved with the energy provided by a single fridge compressor unit, these surfisticated mass produced small silent pumps can be found for free, discarded on any number of street corners, however i choose to pay the scrap man a fiver to keep a clean conscious as the gasses used in fridges should not be released to atmosphere. Using the tubes from the back of the fridge i created a branch of tubes venting small jets of air out to atmosphere. this work was to be the begining of my journy into air powered machines, The Beaufort series, as i came to call it, in this early work i made small taps to control the air allowing me to achieve an even distribution to the windmill elements.
